"Super Hotel in the City of Arts and Sciences"
This first class 4 star hotel was more than I could have wanted. Situated near the port, and in the heart of the fabulous City of Arts and Sciences (which has yet to be fully completed,) I was totally satisfied with my hotel. The bedrooms were exactly as shown on the web site, with a free mini bar stocked with soft drinks and beer, free coffee and pastries in the lounge area most of the day and a sumptious breakfast. The bathroom with shower was modern and toiletries replaced daily. There were plenty of enormous towels even though I had a room for one person. The hotel was situated at a bus stop, and 6 euros entitled you to 10 bus rides which was more than enough for a 3 day break to take us to the splendid historic city centre. I cannot wait to go back......

"Excellent Hotel"
We stayed at the AC Valencia for 7 days in September and had a very enjoyable time. It is an excellent hotel, one of the best I have ever stayed in and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is relatively new, very , clean modern and minimalist in style and furnishings, but very comfortable, in fact, the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The rooms are fairly large with attractive, modern bathrooms. The air conditioning was very efficient and quiet and was very welcome as it was 32 degrees C outside! There are complimentary mini bars in the rooms which are topped up free of charge each day with beer, mineral water and soft drinks. In the hotel's lounge, free coffee, tea, mineral water and soft drinks and a selection of Danish pastries are also available throughout the day. The hotel also has a free gym and sauna on the top floor. The inclusive buffet breakfast was also very good with a large choice of hot and cold food. The hotel is in the new part of the city with its broad, airy avenues and beautiful new buildings and is next to the stunning, futuristic City of Arts and Sciences complex, which houses the Oeanarium, Science Museum and IMAX cinema. It is also close to a large modern shopping mall and a new El Cortes Inglese department store is just around the corner. The hotel is on the main No 19 bus route (the bus stop is right outside the door) to both the city centre and the long sandy beach and is about a mile, or a 20 minute bus ride (costing 1 euro) from both. Alternatively, the hotel is close to the old Turia river bed which has now been converted to a 7 kilometre stretch of park running through the centre of Valencia and it is a pleasant 30 minute walk through the olive, orange and lemon trees, into the centre of the old medieval part of the city. We loved Valencia, and I can thoroughly recommend the AC Hotel.
