"WOW..." This is without doubt one of the finest rooms i have stayed anywhere! Although we did not have your standard hotel room, my new wife and i stayed in the executive suite on a whistle stop stay as part of our honeymoon. The service was wonderfull, the staff were very helpfull, the rooms (note the plural) well, it was more of an appartment. a comfy lounge and dining area with slilding doors into our double bedroom. The bathroom was lush, Shower ROOM for two, a seperate bath tub and a brilliant choice of Hermes fragrances and bath stuff. The breakfast was great and a wide range of dishes. Location was in the heart of Valencia close by to the bullring arena. Only shame is that we were only here for two nights. One tip for Valencia first timers is to take the official bus ride early on in your stay, very cheap and a great way to take in everything. That way you know what is available and where it is. Thank you Vinci Lys for a memorable stay.

"beautiful,spotlessly clean and perfect location" Valencia has so much to offer for a long weekend or short stay. The city has old spanish streets,the churches and markets that you would expect. Lots of lovely tapas bars ,street cafes .Its small enough to see everything by foot but if you don't enjoy walking it has a good underground metro and bus service. All the shops are closed on Sundays so this gave my husband the ideal oppertunity to get a ticket to watch Valencia football match which are easily got outside the Mestalla staduim for only 22 euros instead of trying to buy one online for 80 euro.The Vincci Lys is the most central hotel . The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished. The breakfast buffet was very good and all staff were extremely helpful . The Sorrola Hotel is not far from the Vinnci Lys but did not look as nice .We found a great resturant called SAGARDI, the street is San Vicente Martir, the tapas are the best ever and the homemade cider was a great touch,Upstairs has a more formal but fantastic open flame grill resturant.,this is in the area of the el Mercat. During the day there is a wonderful food market..Mercat Central.We took a long walk over to the science museum,the Planetarium area then on further to the port to see the 2007 America's cup exhibition then along to the beach for a beer..much needed by then !! Loved the city and loved the hotel very romantic ..Found tripadvisor invaluable again,thanks!
